Open nutrition dataset

A downloadable CSV/JSON snapshot of common foods and their per-100 g nutrition.

This is planned and not published yet. The interface below shows what we intend to ship and may change.

What it is

For projects that would rather ship a file than call an API, we plan to publish a periodic snapshot of common, generic foods with energy and macros per 100 g, as CSV and JSON, under an open licence with attribution. This is planned, not yet released; the schema will mirror the API's per-100 g fields so you can move between the two. If a static dataset would unblock you, the media contact in the footer is the fastest way to say so and shape it.

Examples
